Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 2026
Last Updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, accessing, or using BioNith ("Platform", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use our platform.
These terms govern your use of the BioNith ecosystem, including your digital biography matrix, API synchronizations, and the endorsement protocol. We reserve the right to update these terms at our discretion, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Matrix & Account Security
When you claim a handle (e.g., bionith.com/username) and create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication methods and all activities that occur under your matrix.
- Handle Reservation: Handles are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim dormant handles, revoke handles that infringe on trademarks, or suspend handles engaged in impersonation.
- Security: You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your matrix. BioNith will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
BioNith is designed to build verifiable digital trust. To maintain the integrity of the network, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Impersonation: Creating a matrix that mimics or attempts to pass off as another individual, company, or entity without explicit authorization.
- Endorsement Manipulation: Artificially inflating credibility metrics, trading vouches via automated scripts, or engaging in "vouch-farming."
- Malicious Content: Uploading viruses, executing malicious scripts, or embedding iframes that attempt to phish or harvest data from visitors to your matrix.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account at our sole discretion.
4. Ecosystem & API Syncing
BioNith allows you to connect third-party accounts (e.g., GitHub, YouTube, Spotify) to automatically populate your matrix. By enabling these integrations, you grant BioNith permission to fetch, read, and display this public data on your behalf.
We do not claim ownership over the external content you sync. However, you must ensure that your use of third-party integrations complies with the respective Terms of Service of those external platforms (e.g., Google's API Terms of Service). We reserve the right to sever API connections if they trigger rate limits or compromise our infrastructure.
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain complete ownership over all original content, biographies, and links you publish to your BioNith matrix. By displaying content on our platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, format, and display it to visitors.
BioNith's Property: The platform architecture, source code, visual design (including glassmorphic styling and UI/UX flows), algorithms, and the "BioNith" brand are the exclusive intellectual property of BioNith Inc. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape the platform interface.
6. Limitation of Liability
BIONITH IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PLATFORM'S UPTIME, ACCURACY OF EXTERNAL API SYNCING, OR DATA PRESERVATION.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioNith and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or digital reputation, resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.
